Hi There!
My name is Jessica Hyde-Charkey, I go by Jess for short:)
I have been into beauty since the time I can remember.
I started tattooing in 2015 and at that second I knew I would absolutely LOVE doing permanent makeup. At that moment I did lots of research; I had to be a licensed esthetician with an extra 132 hours to become a permanent makeup artist. At this point I continued out my tattoo apprenticeship and began taking walk-ins for smaller tattoos in Colorado. I did my apprenticeship under Sharky who also became my husband before tattooing.
I attended IBMC for cosmetology school from 2015-2016.
While I was going to Cosmetology school for 15 months, I also worked at Sharky's Paradise on my off hours, learning how to pierce and doing admin "stuff".
Men's Barbering became such a thing and was so popular in the shop that I decided it was best for me to attend a Barber Crossover Program. I attended 3 months of that program at Montage Academy and became a licensed Barber in the summer of 2018. I picked up tons of clientele while doing men and women's hair, my main being Barbering. I also continued to pierce like crazy in the shop which now till this day I do a ton of and love it! Permanent Makeup was a stretch since you had to pay ahead of time and we decided to have more kiddos. Finally in August 2019 I was able to attend Permanent Makeup School in Erie, Colorado at "The Looking Glass". I LOVE my Job and I have put a ton of time and effort into what I do. I never stop advancing or taking educational classes. I have attended seminars around the world, matter of fact... Tina Davies herself did my own brows back in 2016 and they changed my life.
Let my story and my talent change yours <3
